Lacy Scott & Knight is an independent and long-established firm of auctioneers & valuers and property professionals. We have been selling antiques and works of art since 1869 in our purpose-built Auction Centre situated in the heart of historic Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. We are one of the largest salerooms in the East of England, holding a diverse range of specialist and general sales throughout the year.

We have been privileged to have sold some stunning Chinese art and antiques over the last few years, including a Qianlong period cloisonne bowl for ￡72,000, a porcelain plaque by Xui Zhongnam for ￡42,000, and a Chinese Qianlong Period carved zitan Ruyi sceptre for ￡130,000. To build on these successes, we are thrilled to welcome Dr Jun Kong, a Cambridge graduate and an active member of the Oriental Ceramic Society to the team to run the Asian Art department and organise two specialised Asian Art sales per year in Spring and Autumn.

Lacy Scott & Knight is among long-standing members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Society of Fine Art Auctioneers & Valuers (SOFAA). In Spring 2017 we extended the Auction Centre to include a new reception, cataloguing & office area. The last few years have seen us expand our online bidding service and offer this for free through our own website, as well as create an in-house postage department to ship items worldwide; both of which have proved extremely popular with clients.?
